Frank Fools Crow, Ceremonial Chief of the Teton Sioux, is regarded by many as the greatest Native American holy person and healer of the last one hundred years. Nephew of Black Elk, and a disciplined, gentle spiritual and political leader, he died in 1989 at age 99. But his teachings in the ways of Wakan Tanka (The Great Sacredness) continue. “Anyone who is willing to live the life I have led, can do the things I do,” he was fond of saying.

In this overnight weekend workshop, we’ll study Fools Crow’s techniques for healing and engaging with the natural and spiritual worlds. We’ll take part in an authentic Native American Inipi (Sweatlodge) purification Ceremony. And we’ll experience why Fools Crows’ and many indigenous peoples understanding of life and death can lead to uplift, insight, freedom from fear, living in harmony with the rest of creation, and the creation of a healthier, more positive life.
